The NP 246 transfer case has a front output shaft seal that is very difficult to install. There is an inner ring to the seal that must be pressed at the same time the out ring is pressed into the case. This tool makes it very simple to install without damaging the seal.

Seal installer 99321 worked great ! This was my second attempt installing new seal, first time tried using large sockets, seal leaked.This tool puts equal pressure on the seal which is key ,to a proper install.Highly recommend if you are replacing seal on a no 246 transfer case.
